9:14 AM: Our engineering team is sending a technician into the field for repairs.
10:09 AM: The network outage was caused by a power outage in Fremont. PG&E's ETR for power is 10:15 AM.
10:28 AM: PG&E's ETR has been extended to 4PM. We are working on providing backup power to our site.
11:00 AM: Our team has installed backup power and is configuring our equipment.
12:00 PM: Our team has gained roof access to complete equipment configuration.
Resolved 12:55 PM: Thank you for your patience and understanding. Our team has resolved the network outage. If you are still experiencing problems with your connection please power cycle your primary router and equipment.
This outage was caused by a car crashing into a phone pole, causing a power outage. There are battery backups for this type of situation, but they had failed to work. Our team has put in a fix to prevent further trouble.
