What do I need to receive gigabit speeds?

Currently, Sail offers gigabit speeds to businesses and select residential communities.

You will need a router capable of gig speeds to get the best experience.To take better advantage of gigabit speeds over WiFi, you will need an AC2200 or higher router.

We recommend the new Google Nest WiFi. If you have a previous model of the Google WiFi router, it can be used as an additional access point with the new Nest WiFi.

While we recommend this router, please note that it is unlikely you will get 1 Gbps speeds over a WiFi connection. For the fastest speeds possible, we recommend hard-wiring your computer to your router.

PLEASE NOTE: the previous generation of Google WiFi (which you might have received from Sail when you were first installed) will transmit gigabit speeds when wired to a computer.
