Call us when you want to take over a previous tenants account so we can set up a new account for you.
You need to find out where the previous tenant had their router placed (where the ethernet line comes into your unit). This could be family room, living room, bedroom, etc. You want to plug your new router in the same place using an ethernet cable. The ideal scenario is where the previous tenant leaves the router for you. Make sure you get the router and wifi credentials or you will have to do a factory reset. This makes the activation easy.
When you activate your new router, you need to call us to give us the MAC address of the router. When we enter the new MAC into our system, your internet should start working.

It may even work before you give us the MAC, but normally we need the MAC to authenticate your system. When we confirm that you have signal and everything is working properly, we will transfer the account to your name.
